About Us

JS Media Services is a new consultancy founded by Jeremy Sutcliffe.

In January 2009, Jeremy stepped down as Associate Editor of The Times Educational Supplement to start his own business.

He has over 30 years experience as a journalist and has served in a variety of senior positions at The TES, including News Editor, Assistant Editor and Associate Editor. As editor of the Comment and Leadership pages he played an influential role in shaping debate within the education community and wrote many leading articles for the paper.

He also encouraged and developed the skills of many writers and contributors, working with well known columnists, including prominent teachers and educationists such as Mike Kent, Kenny Frederick, Geoff Barton and the late Ted Wragg.

He has devised and directed many campaigns and surveys for The TES and is an expert in opinion research.

Through his work as a journalist, Jeremy has become widely known and trusted by leaders in the education world. He has also built up an impressive list of contacts, enabling him to work in partnership with reputable names across the print and broadcast media and in marketing, public affairs and opinion research – as well as education.
